About our school...
Ash Hill Primary School is in the Micklefield area of High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. The youngest children at our school are 4 years old (Reception class), and the oldest are eleven (Year 6).
We also have Ash Hill Pre-School, which takes children from the age of three. There are approximately 200 children in school and 26 in the pre-school. Our Pre-School is housed in the on-site Children's Centre. The centre provides a range of services and activities for families in the area.
Ash Hill is a happy school, and everyone works together to ensure that the children are safe and well looked after, and that they all receive an education which enables them to meet their full potential.
Our school received its most recent Ofsted inspection in June 2009. You can read the report here. If you are a parent and you are thinking of sending your child to Ash Hill, please contact the school office here and arrange to come and have a look around. All visitors to our website are also most welcome to leave a guestbook comment or to contact us.
The headteacher at Ash Hill is Mrs Jennifer Gamble, and the deputy head is Ms Jill Digweed. The school is organised into three 'phases':
Foundation Stage (Reception class and Pre-school)- the Foundation Stage Leader is Miss Martin
Lower School (Years 1, 2 & 3)- the Lower School Leader is Mrs Cheema
Upper School (Years 4, 5 & 6)- the Upper School Leader is Ms Digweed
